It is easy to think that if you've got a certain size patio or deck, you want to cover as much of it as you can, and sometimes this is a good plan, but don't be stuck in this idea because we have built many fine shelters that are big, and also 100s that are quite modest and only cover 20% of the available area. it's all about giving choice and having some areas with no shelter is absolutely fine outcome too!
